EFT donates a library to the Stanari primary school
The new management building at the Stanari energy complex was opened today, five months after the beginning of construction works. The 1600 square meter building represents the first completed object of the new energy complex, at the centre of which will be the state of the art MW 410 Stanari lignite fired power plant.

The Ministry for Spatial Planning, Construction and Ecology of the Government of Republika Srpska has issued the full ecological permit for the TPP Stanari project to EFT-Mine and Thermal Power Plant Stanari.

The foundation stone for the new administration building has been laid at EFT Group’s new energy complex at Stanari, near the city of Doboj in Republika Srpska (Bosnia-Herzegovina), heralding the construction of the Balkans’ most modern power plant.

EFT and SNC Lavalin in exclusivity agreement for the preparation of EPC proposal for TPP Stanari
EFT signed an exclusivity agreement with SNC Lavalin for the preparation of a Final Technical and Commercial Proposal for engineering, procurement and construction of TPP Stanari.  A fully binding proposal is expected by September 2008, while a full EPC contract is expected to be signed by the companies by the end of the year.

ESI has singled out the economic recovery of the Stanari mine and the construction of the Stanari TPP by EFT as a case in point.

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development approves the prequalification tender for TPP Stanari
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) approved the recently completed prequalification tender for the construction of TPP Stanari, near Doboj. The tender was announced on September 10th on the EBRD website and called for interested companies, capable of constructing the TPP on a turn-key basis, to register themselves as interested parties.
