TPP Stanari is resynchronized with the national grid on Tuesday, September 27, at 9 a.m. after successfully performed annual overhaul activities.

TPP Stanari starts the annual overhaul activities on Saturday, September 3, after 6 uninterrupted operational months on the power grid. The TPP lead engineers developed the Maintenance Plan and set up the Schedule to be implemented in cooperation with local expert companies. Resynchronization with the power grid is expected in approx. 25 days, by September 30 latest.

Thermal Power Plant Stanari is re-synchronized with the power grid on Thursday, October 28th, after the first general overhaul anticipated in the TPP Generation Plan in 2021.

TPP Stanari Turbine and Generator Overhaul scheduled under the Generation Plan 2021 starts on Saturday, 28 August 2021, 5,5 years after the TPP Commercial Operation Commencement and 163 continuous operational days on the grid.

On 16th of June 2021, the Chamber of Commerce of Republika Srpska organized the 17th awarding ceremony to provide recognition to the most successful companies in 2020.

The TPP Stanari Annual Generation Plan anticipates two overhauls in 2021. The first, minor, annual preventive overhaul of 10-12 days starts on Monday 8th of March.

At the small company event held on Dec 16, EFT Stanari has awarded the employees who significantly contributed to retaining company goals in 2020.

The Thermal Power Plant Stanari has been re-synchronized with the national power grid at 12 p.m. on Sunday, October 25th, after the plant overhaul of thirty days.

“EFT-Mine and Thermal Power Plant Stanari” anticipates three TPP overhauls in its Business plan for 2020. The inspection and maintenance of one part of boiler-turbine units and several BoPs have been completed during the preventive overhauls of 10 days in February and June 2020.

In April 2020, the EFT Group management has made decision to allocate BAM 1 million to support Bosnia and Herzegovina to fight against the coronavirus spread. The funds are used to equip the healthcare institutions listed by the BiH authorities as the institutions in the highest need for medical equipment for the combat with Covid19. This donation is delivered through the EFT Group members seated in BiH.

On 28 February, the Blood Transfusion Service Doboj organized the Blood Donation Camp at “EFT Rudnik i Termoelektrana Stanari”. The medical staff has been provided with the premises for conducting safe process of collecting and storing blood and blood components.

On 17 Dec, the EFT Stanari Management organized a farewell ceremony to twelve employees eligible to retire in 2019. Mr. Savo Mirkovic, the EFT Stanari director, congratulated the retirement and thanked the retirees with the goodbye gifts appreciating their commitment and hard work.

On 13 November 2019, the Health Center Stanari Director, Mr Nedeljko Djekic met Mr Savo Mirkovic, Director at “EFT – Rudnik i Termoelektrana Stanari” to sign the Protocol and thus formalize the process of a donation of medical apparatus.

The Annual Power Generation Plan anticipates two overhauls to the Thermal Power Plan Stanari in 2019. The first, major overhaul was successfully completed in April.

On the occasion of the official school opening, the Assistant Minister for preschool, primary and high school education in Republika Srpska, Mrs Radmila Kocic Cucic accompanied by director of “EFT-Rudnik i Termoelektrana Stanari” Mr Savo Mirkovic visited the elementary school “Desanka Maksimovic” in Cvrtkovci, municipality of Stanari, on 27 August 2019.

This year “EFT Rudnik i Termoelektrana Stanari“awarded 45 students and 5 teachers from Primary School “Desanka Maksimovic“ in Stanari for extraordinary results achieved at regional and local school competitions with a one-day trip to Belgrade. On a guided tour organized on Saturday 25 May, children and their teachers enjoyed nice weather visiting best places in Belgrade with top tourist attractions.

The Jubilee 20th Theater Fest Doboj 2019 held from 19 to 24 May gathered some of the most prominent theaters from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia.

The 16th traditional manifestation „The awards for the most successful companies in the economy of Republika Srpska“ organized by the RS Economy Chamber was held on Friday 29th March at the Culture Center Banski Dvor in Banja Luka.

According to the EFT Group Press Release, EFT Stanari paid more than 30 mil BAM to the public budget of Republika Srpska in 2018.

In 2018, “EFT – Rudnik i Termoelektrana Stanari” operated in accordance with its business plan. Records were set in electricity generation, coal production and overburden processing.

2018 is no exception when it comes to annual rewarding of employees in EFT Stanari who proved to be most motivated and solution-oriented throughout the whole year.

Devoted to the environmental protection, EFT Stanari keeps working diligently on implementation of horticultural techniques within the Mine and TPP area.

EFT Stanari has allocated 93 000 BAM for reconstruction of primary school „Desanka Maksimović“ in Dragalovci. Thanks to this donation, the children start new school year in fully renovated classrooms.

As of the 8th of August 2016 when EFT took over the TPP from Chinese company Dongfang Electric Corporation, the employees at “EFT-Rudnik i Termoelektrana Stanari” have undergone the two-year professional training assisted by DEC.

This year’s 4th Banja Luka m:tel half-marathon was held on a new 21km long track leading through green alleys, parks and the most-known settlements in Banja Luka all the way down to the Kastel fortress. The new half-marathon route with the official AIMS certificate found its place on the list of half-marathon tracks for setting records for the Olympic, national, continental and world races.

Thermal Power Plant Stanari is back in operation after the successfully performed annual overhaul activities. Period of 30 days predicted for completion of overhaul activities was cut down to 25 due to the precise scheduling, own TPP staff best effort and good cooperation with DEC (Dongfang Electric Corporation) staff and overhaul contractors.

According to the Business Plan 2018, Stanari Thermal Power Plant will be subject to two overhauls this year. The TPP Stanari will be off the national grid for 30 days in a row due to the major overhaul to be carried out in April.

This-year manifestation „The awards for the most successful in RS economy“ took place on 28 March 2018 at the Culture Center Banski Dvor in Banja Luka. This is the 15th manifestation of this kind organized by the RS Economy Chamber to award the biggest contributors to RS economy development.

The Trade Union Republican Committee of Metal Industry and Mining in Republika Srpska held the session via conference call on 18th of March 2018. bringing the unanimous Decision on awarding the „EFT-Rudnik i Termoelektrana Stanari“ the Plaque for successful cooperation and valuable social dialogue.

STANARI, JULY 21 /SRNA/ - “EFT Rudnik i Termoelektrana Stanari" donated 70.000 KM for repair and reconstruction of branch school “Desanka Maksimović” located in Ljeb thus providing safe learning environment and secure classrooms.

The overburden stripping represents the first excavation phase in coal production at the open pits. Each ton of coal excavated in Stanari requires the removal of 5 cubic meters of overburden. Accordingly, Stanari mine removed more than 7 mil cubic meters of overburden in 2016.
